The UTC Cress Gallery of Art features two exhibitions of fresh, thoughtful, and relevant abstraction in its spaces for Spring 2009: paintings and drawings by Rob Nadeau (NYC); and paintings and project table by Jered Sprecher (UTKnoxville, TN).

The Cress Gallery is located in the lobby of the UTC Fine Arts Center (FAC) at the corner of Vine and Palmetto Streets. Admission to the Gallery and all events is free. Visitors to the Gallery may obtain a parking pass from the Facilities Building on Palmetto Street; parking is freely available in any University lot after 5:00 pm.

you should look up rob nadeau=brooklyn artist. i told him to look you up. his work seems to be something i think you’d like. and a nice guy. his slide talk was great.

I got the schedule from Jered, he sent out a mass email + then I asked for a jpeg of recent work to post with the schedule.
I thought it would be a good public service message… If people live in Knoxvilled or Culver City
I went to Mixed Greens today, I like that gallery – they show Joan Linder, and I am big fan of her drawings. Her drawings are awesome, I have a link to her website and the Mixed Greens website in the left-hand sidebar. Rob Nadeau’s work looks cool too. I would like to see it is person.
